About

Kristiania University of Applied Sciences is a non-profit institution that has been shaping Norway’s knowledge society for over 110 years. Founded in 1914 as the NKS correspondence school by Ernst G. Mortensen, Kristiania has stayed true to its original vision—making education accessible to everyone, regardless of location.

With 24,000 students and over 1,000 employees, Kristiania is Norway’s largest broad-based university college, with ambitions to become a university. Offering programs from vocational studies to doctoral degrees, the institution provides more than 100 study options across its campuses in Oslo, Bergen, and online.

Solution

Kristiania University of Applied Sciences are using eye-share Workflow and eye-share Capture. Watch their story in the video below – in Norwegian, with English captions.

A clear vision of every invoice

With eye-share, Kristiania found a solution that provided full transparency and a complete overview of their invoice processes. The system allows users to easily track actions, ensuring clarity on what has been done and by whom.

Faster processing with fewer resources

Before implementing eye-share, processing an invoice required an average of 3.5 people. By automating approval workflows, this number has now dropped to just 2.1 per invoice. Moreover, in four of Kristiania’s five companies, automation has been fully enabled—resulting in invoice processing that is now 30 to 40 times faster than before.

A partnership for progress

Beyond the technical benefits, Kristiania values eye-share as a partner that is truly committed to progress. Whether addressing reported issues or developing new functionality, eye-share listens to its users and continuously enhances the system to meet their needs.

By streamlining its financial operations with eye-share, Kristiania has significantly improved efficiency while ensuring a transparent and structured invoice process. As the institution continues its ambitions to become a university, having a reliable digital financial workflow in place is a key advantage in its journey toward future growth.

We truly feel like we are working with a partner that is committed to progress - one that listens to its users.
