They serve as a crucial link in the international gas supply chains of leading energy majors and commodity trading houses throughout South East Asia, the Middle East, Europe, West Africa, and the Americas.
BWEK operate approximately 3,000 cargo operations annually, and transport more than 4.7 million tonnes between over 300 different ports worldwide, performing an average of five load operations every day.
Solution
BWEK implemented eye-share Workflow and eye-share Capture with the following modules: Invoice, General Ledger, Travel, Report, Purchase Match and Masterdata. The solution is fully integrated with NetSuite (accounting integration) and ShipNet (purchase integration).
Quick wins with automation
When increasing AP invoice volume and complexity began to strain their team, they made the choice to work smarter, not harder. In 2019, BWEK Singapore made the strategic decision to adopt eye-share’s cloud-based Accounts Payable Automation Software.
BWEK began seeing results quickly, as invoices were automatically scanned, interpreted, and processed through eye-share’s ‘Invoice’ workflow SaaS system.
User-friendly and effortless setup
The staff found the system easy to use. Once configurations were in place and algorithms trained, minimal interaction was required.
Tackling duplicate invoices
A major previous challenge had been duplicate invoices, which eye-share now automatically flags and returns to suppliers for clarification.
