Database administrator (DBA)

Join our team as a Database administrator
We are looking for a highly skilled and self-driven Database Administrator (DBA) to take full ownership of the database environments powering eye-share.
In this role, you will be a key contributor to the reliability, availability, performance, and security of our end‑to‑end financial workflow automation platform. You will work closely with our platform, engineering, and SRE teams to ensure that Eye-share continues to deliver a seamless and resilient experience for our users.
What you'll do:
As our DBA, you will play a central role in shaping and strengthening the database foundation of Eye‑share.
-
Manage, optimize, and scale database clusters in public cloud environments.
-
Monitor database performance, health, and capacity — ensuring stable operations for our SaaS customers.
-
Maintain and continuously improve backup, restore, and disaster‑recovery strategies.
-
Collaborate with developers on schema design, indexing strategies, and performance improvements.
-
Ensure compliance with security standards, access control, privacy requirements, and internal cloud governance.
- Automate provisioning, maintenance, and scaling to support a growing customer base.
- Maintain dashboards, alerts, and KPIs for proactive monitoring.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and guide incident resolution when performance or availability is impacted.

We are looking for you who:
-
Have 3-7+ years of experience as a DBA or similar role.
-
Have hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
-
Have strong skills in performance tuning and advanced troubleshooting.
-
Have knowledge of replication, sharding, failover mechanisms, and high-availability architectures.
- Have experience with cloud-hosted relational databases and/or NoSQL systems.
- Are confident, proactive, and collaborative in your way of working.
- Are comfortable taking ownership and driving structure in a complex environment.
- Are skilled in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communicating technical matters clearly.
...it's also great if you have:
-
Experience with SaaS platforms, distributed systems, or high-traffic applications.
-
Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
-
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar).
-
Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies — mindset may compensate for experience.
