Solution
The South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority implemented eye-share Capture with line interpretation and eye-share Workflow, including modules for invoices, general ledger, reminders, customs declarations, reporting, and mobile access. The solution integrates seamlessly with OeBS for accounting and purchasing, as well as Active Directory (AD) for streamlined user management.

eye-share Workflow has been very well received, both by users and managers in all health trusts. It is a modern, intuitive and simple solution to deal with, and the automation is very good. Everyone sees that they save a lot of time in everyday life, and that is important.
Olav Tennøy
Regional System Manager for ERP at the South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority
"Early in the procurement process, we saw that eye-share Workflow was the right product for us", says Olav Tennøy, Regional System Manager for ERP at the South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority.
Digitization, process improvement, and sustainable technological solutions are essential tools for creating a future-ready healthcare system. The South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority has partnered with Eye-share to eliminate manual accounting tasks through intelligent automation. The goal? Significant time and cost savings in financial operations.
Automating processes across 11 companies
As Norway’s largest healthcare provider, the South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority oversees 11 health trusts, processes approximately one million invoices annually, and supports over 6,000 users. This scale created an urgent need for automated invoicing. Eye-share was selected as the preferred solution, excelling on key criteria such as efficiency, security, and user-friendliness.
"Time and efficiency are crucial to us, alongside digitization and continuous improvement," Tennøy emphasizes.
Since its implementation, eye-share Workflow has been warmly received across the organization. Tennøy highlights its modern, intuitive design and robust automation capabilities:
"Everyone sees how much time they save in their daily tasks, and that’s what matters."
Simplifying the complex
Understanding the organization’s intricate project and approval workflows was critical to delivering an automated solution. "The dialogue with Eye-share has been excellent from the start," Tennøy explains. During implementation and transition to operations, Eye-share provided skilled advisors and partners who facilitated productive discussions, efficient reviews, and a deep understanding of the Health Authority’s needs.
"User involvement has been a key success factor," Tennøy continues. Active participation in “live” dialogue meetings during the project ensured the solution met user needs and was well-received from the outset.
A cloud-based milestone
eye-share Workflow represents the Health Authority’s first fully cloud-based solution, reflecting a strong commitment to security and flexibility. "Eye-share even worked with Microsoft Azure to implement additional security measures tailored to our needs," Tennøy notes, adding that the collaboration was both exciting and educational for both parties.
With the cloud-based system, the Health Authority now benefits from greater flexibility, lower costs, and enhanced security across all 11 trusts.
A journey of continuous improvement
While the Health Authority aimed for a standardized solution, its diverse needs required some adjustments during implementation. Tennøy acknowledges the importance of flexibility:
"We’ve started using eye-share Workflow, knowing this is an ongoing process to further increase automation. Eye-share has proven to be a professional and knowledgeable partner throughout this journey."
As Norway’s largest healthcare provider continues to embrace automation, the partnership with Eye-share marks a significant step toward a more efficient and sustainable future. "We are very pleased with our new solution," Tennøy concludes.
