From a bold idea in Stavanger to an industry-leading AP and P2P solution, we have come a long way. It hasn’t always been smooth sailing—there were challenges, turning points, and big decisions along the way. But through it all, one thing has stayed the same: our commitment to making financial processes smarter, faster, and easier for mid-sized and enterprise businesses.
2001 – Humble beginnings
We were founded in Stavanger with a big idea—what if businesses could automate invoice handling and streamline financial workflows? With a strong belief in digitalization, we set out to transform the way companies manage their finances.
2003 – A tough road ahead
Like many startups, we faced challenges. Scaling was tough, costs were high, and we had to make difficult decisions. At one point, our team was reduced to just six employees. But we kept going, determined to make our vision a reality.
2005 – The turning point
This was the year everything changed. We put software development at the core of our business and built our own in-house development team. That decision set us on a path to real growth. With a clear focus and a dedicated team, we started gaining momentum. Oh, and Torhill Falnes stepped in as Managing Director—she’s been steering the ship ever since!
2008 – Picking up speed
With a growing customer base and more businesses seeing the value in automation, we expanded our focus to sales and integrations. We made it easier than ever for companies to connect their systems to eye-share.
2009 – Strengthening our foundation
Customer experience became a top priority. We expanded our project management and support teams, ensuring that every customer got the help they needed to succeed with our software.
2014–2015 – Expanding beyond Norway
By now, we had built a strong presence in Norway, but we knew we could do more. With a focus on energy, oil and maritime, we took our first big steps into the international market. New add-on modules were launched, making our solutions even more powerful.
2016 – The leap to the cloud
We saw where the future was headed and made a major move—eye-share Workflow was rebuilt on new technology and became cloud-ready. The shift laid the groundwork for more innovation and greater flexibility for our customers.
2018 – Going all in on innovation
By now, every module in the eye-share suite had been upgraded to the latest technology, making our software smarter, faster, and more powerful than ever. The result? Even more businesses could automate their financial processes with ease.
2020 – Defining who we are
We took a step back and asked ourselves: What makes us, us? The answer was clear—Amazing Product Suite, Happy Customers, and an Awesome Place to Work. These values became our foundation, guiding everything we do.
2022 – Growing beyond borders
With growth accelerating, we set our sights on Purchase-to-Pay as our next big focus. We also opened new offices in Oslo and Singapore, strengthening our presence and serving customers across more regions.
2025 – Ready for what’s next
By now, over 85% of our customers are in the cloud, reducing their energy consumption and increasing efficiency. Our team is growing fast, and we’re gearing up for the next big phase of expansion. The journey is far from over—we’re just getting started!
